VIBE stands for “Vlaams Instituut voor Bio-Ecologisch bouwen en wonen”, and is a Flemish non-profit organization that promotes natural building and living and educates its principles. This includes talking about eco-friendly homes and workplaces that form healthy environments for us to reside in.
BatiBouw
ECOAWARD Batibouw 2011. An Award for the most environmentally friendly product or service. Sustainability is of great importance for many Batibouw visitors. The Batibouw Eco-trail leads them to the stands of nominated companies which pay particular attention to environmental and human-friendly environment.
Materia
The Materia Award goes to the most innovative and inspiring material from the independent, comprehensive collection of Materia. The first round of selection was done by the members of the Quality Council of Materia, but ultimately the visitor of Material Xperience decided the winner.The winning material gets the title Best Material of the Year.
